Two Day Professional Development Seminar

This two-day seminar is designed for practicing Alberta science teachers. Working alongside the 3 facilitators you will gain confidence and practical skills about:

  • how the cultures of school science and Indigenous ways of knowing intersect and interact
  • successful practices of engaging Indigenous perspectives in school science
  • creating classroom plans to engage with Indigenous perspectives in school science.

  • Isabelle Kootenay – Alexis Nakota First Nation
  • Tracy Onuczko -- Parkland School Division

Date: June 25 and 26, 2018
